Teaching

Lukas Böhm gained his first teaching experience as a lecturer in master classes during concert tours through Asia. In the winter semester 2018/2019, at the age of only 27, he was appointed as professor at the Cologne University of Music and Dance, where he has since been responsible for teaching percussion at the departement in Wuppertal. In the summer semester of 2019, the additional call to the Dresden College of Music followed.
Lukas Böhm is currently also teaching chamber music at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin. A special concern for him is the promotion of highly talented youngsters. As a lecturer at the Pre-College Cologne (promotion of young talents at the HfMT Cologne) and the Special School for Music Dresden (Landesmusikgymnasium Carl Maria von Weber Dresden, promotion of young talents at the HfM Dresden), he accompanies young talents in unique support programs.
Lukas Böhm is also a regular guest at master classes at home and abroad.
